Orkin's Paul Hardy Speaks on New Technologies for Drywood Termite Treatment
Paul Hardy, Technical Director of Orkin, Inc., Atlanta, GA, talks about new technologies and methods of localized treatment for drywood termites. Orkin is using the AED-2000 Acoustic Emission Detector at a number of its offices in FL, LA, TX, and S CA. The articles were published in Pest Control Magazine in Nov 2003 article entitled Termite techniques for 2004 (http://www.pestcontrolmag.com/pestcontrol/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=74052),
and in a Jan 2004 article entitled Drywood termite IPM (http://www.pestcontrolmag.com/pestcontrol/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=80414)
Orkin is one of the largest pest control companies in the USA, and their adoption of localized treatment for drywood termites and other insect pest infestations is a bellwhether of where the industry is headed. AEC is proud to be the supplier of the first practical AED instrument to receive industry acceptance as a practical tool for termite and insect pest detection and control.
